This activity was opened by the Head of Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province, Mr. Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM was accompanied by the Head of the P2EPD Division, Mrs. Rina Juliaty, and the Functional Planner, Data and Information Analysis Sub-Coordinator, Mr. Muhamad Hamsani. Also present were participants from Regional Apparatus within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, Secretary and Head of Division and Functional Planning of the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda.

This workshop was held for three days from 4 to 6 October 2022 by presenting resource persons including the Director General of Forestry Planning and Environmental Management of the Ministry of Environment and Forestry represented by Mr. Dr. Widyananto Basuki Aryono, Directorate General of Regional Development, Ministry of Home Affairs, Secretariat General of the National Energy Council, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, in this case represented by Mr. Nanang Kristanto, ST, Head of the Forest Area Stabilization Center (BPKH) Region IV Samarinda, in this case This was represented by Mr. Hengky Wijaya.

This activity is intended to improve the understanding and analytical skills of HR planning personnel in formulating low-carbon regional development policies, as well as the process of internalizing them into planning documents and aims to ensure the process of preparing the 2024 Regional Development Plan -2026 can be held by human resources who have sufficient understanding and knowledge and follow the directions of applicable rules and policies, including including the concepts and principles of sustainable development in an inclusive and equitable manner.
