Establishment of the East Kalimantan Provincial Parliament Special Committee concerning Draft Regulation on Amendment to Perda No.9 of 2016 concerning the Formation and Arrangement of Regional Apparatus of East Kalimantan Province

Samarinda, 11/08/2020 . The 2020 East Kalimantan Provincial Parliament Plenary Session in 2020 was held virtually through the Zoom Meeting followed by a meeting participant from the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and the East Kalimantan Provincial DPRD member resulted in an agreement on the formation of the East Kalimantan Provincial DPRD concerning the Regional Regulation No.9 of 2016 concerning the Formation and Arrangement of the Regional Apparatus of the Province of East Kalimantan.

In accordance with the first agenda at the plenary meeting this time, the Governor of East Kalimantan was represented by the General Administration Assistant of Setdaprov East Kalimant Year 2012 concerning Public Service Levies, Second Amendments to Perda Number 2 of 2012 concerning Business Service Levies, and the Second Amendment to Perda Number 3 of 2012 concerning Certain Licensing Levies.

Then the meeting continued with the second agenda, namely the formation of the East Kalimantan Provincial DPRD Special Committee and the assignment to the Bogor Commission. The Decree of the East Kalimantan Provincial DPRD Decision was read by Plh. Secretary of the Council (Dra. Hj.Norhayati US, M.Sc), which was then approved by all the meeting participants and was determined by the chairman of the meeting. As many as 15 people from various factions (Golkar Faction, PDIP, Gerindra, PAN, PKB, PPP, PKS, Democrat NasDem) that have been proposed by the factions submitted to the DPRD leadership to become members of the Special Committee discussed the Draft Regional Regulation on the Regional Regulation of East Kalimantan Province Number 9 of 2016 concerning the Formation and Arrangement of Regional Apparatuses.

Before closing the plenary session, the chair of the meeting reiterated the agenda of the hearing, including the formation of the Special Committee of the East Kalimantan Provincial DPRD as a Discussion on the Draft Regional Regulation on Changes to the Regional Regulation of East Kalimantan Province No. 9 of 2016 concerning the Formation and Arrangement of the Regional Apparatus of East Kalimantan Province and Assignment to Commission II (Two) as Discussion 3 (Three) Draft Regional Regulation on:
1. The second amendment to Perda No.1 of 2012 concerning General Service Levies
2. The second amendment to Perda No.2 of 2012 concerning Business Service Levies.
3. The second amendment to Perda No.3 of 2012 concerning Certain Licensing Levies.

"I hope to the relevant commission and members of the Special Committee can immediately work to complete the discussion of the draft regional regulation by involving relevant agencies for the perfection of the draft regional regulation, given the time limit for the discussion of the Regional Regulation Maximum of 3 (three) months in accordance with the regulations of the East Kalimantan Province DPRD.
