Create harmony among the people of East Kalimantan
Samarinda, Thursday 5/9/13. Harmony between residents in East Kalimantan continues to be maintained and maintained continuously regardless of ethnicity, religion, political views, 
and skin color so that the East Kalimantan region remains conducive so that the economy of the people of East Kalimantan will continue to increase. This was stated by the Governor of East Kalimantan, DR.H. Awang Faroek Ishak when giving a speech at the East Kalimantan arts and culture festival at the Segiri Sports Hall parking lot, Samarinda. The East Kalimantan arts and culture festival was attended by the people of East Kalimantan and students in Samarinda City.
The arts festival which also featured in the arts and culture of East Kalimantan began with a performance of the Lion Dance art and culture, this art is a cultural art originating from China, China under the coordinator or leadership of a successful entrepreneur from East Kalimantan in the hotel sector and other business fields, Yos Sutomo. The next cultural arts party was cultural arts from the island of Java, namely the Kuda Lumping and Barongsai dances which were performed very well by the cultural arts group from Samarinda City.
Furthermore, the Governor of East Kalimantan in his speech said that in 2013 the East Kalimantan Provincial Government had provided scholarship assistance to five thousand East Kalimantan pupils and students, and in the coming years if DR.H. Awang Faroek Ishak as a candidate for Governor of East Kalimantan who was paired with H. Mukmin was elected Governor of East Kalimantan in the 2013-2018 period and promised to increase the provision of scholarships to students by fifty thousand people.
This scholarship will be given to all groups, both to students and students who excel, students and students who are not able to live in various areas such as, urban, rural, coastal, inland and border areas and regardless of ethnicity, religion, skin color or different political views.
Said DR. H. Awang Faroek Ishak, who is running for Governor of East Kalimantan for the 2013-2018 period, is paired with Mukmin Faisal with serial number 1, supported by 11 parties, namely the Golkar Party, the National Mandate Party (PAN), the Patriot Party, the National Democratic Party (PDK), the Crescent Star Party (PBB), the Peace and Prosperity Party (PDS), the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), the Democratic Party, the Hanura Party, the Awakening Party. Nation (PKB) and the Indonesian Justice and Unity Party (PKPI).
H. Awang Faroek stated that the principle of East Kalimantan development continues to be "Building East Kalimantan for All" which does not discriminate between different religions, ethnicities, skin colors and even political views. East Kalimantan will become more advanced with the participation of all groups, including young people who are highly dedicated to development, and young people who are free from drug use. Voting will be held on September 10 2013 and it is hoped that all East Kalimantan people will exercise their right to vote at each polling place (TPS) in their respective regions.
