Important archives for every SKPD

Jakarta, Tuesday 1/9/14. H. Syafruddin Pernyata stated that his experience in storing archives in the form of land certificate documents at a banking deposit service in Samarinda City came from his in-laws who used deposit services at a particular bank for the security of these documents. This shows that archives are very important for each individual and for each SKPD to manage archives well.

The work visit at the Field Orientation event at the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia office aims to find out more closely about the management of national archives so that this knowledge can be applied to each SKPD within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government.

Anri's office (National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia) welcomed us very well, starting with a meeting in the meeting room in building C of the Archives office and then dividing into 5 groups to visit each archive sector.

Especially for Computer Practitioner Training participants, they are placed in the Information Technology room on the 6th floor of the 9th floor of the building to have a close look at archives management through technological information received directly by Nyanto, several other staff in providing explanations about archives management.

Head of Sub Division II for the central region of Indonesia, namely Kalimantan Island, Sulawesi Island and Bali Island, Herman Rusmana conveyed several important points when giving a speech and presentation regarding the management of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia, including: 1. Archives management must begin with love for the archive itself so that it can be managed properly; 2. Every records manager must also follow developments in information technology and system development with the aim of improving records management techniques; 3. National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia as the center of the National Network for each Province and as a member at the Ministry/Agency level at the Center; 4. Changing the image or behavior that the archive becomes important if a problem occurs, therefore, before it becomes a problem, manage the document well by archiving it properly; 5. Archives training is expected to change people's attitudes and preferences for archives; 6. The measure of success can be measured by the existence of archives; 7. The Archives Network in the Province is the responsibility of the computer system; 8. Archives as a pillar of national integration; 9. Archives as provincial identity; 10.
