East Kalimantan Bappeda Slaughters 4 Sacrificial Cows

Samarinda, 6/10/14. The Big Family of the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province welcomed Idul Adha 1435 H by holding 4 cuttings 0b._lawan_qurban_DSC_0302cow and 2 goat tail in the parking lot behind the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda office, Jalan Kesuma Bangsa Number 2 Samarinda.

One cow was donated to one of the mosques in Samarinda, while 3 cows, one of which was a sacrificial animal from Plt. Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province and also Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province DR.H.Ir. Rusmadi.MS and 2 goats were slaughtered at the Kalimantan Province Bappeda office.

The meat from sacrificial animals is distributed to the community around the East Kalimantan Bappeda office who are entitled to receive it and distributed to several orphanages or Islamic boarding schools in the city of Samarinda, also distributed to all outsourcing staff, all cleaning service employees and some East Kalimantan Province Bappeda staff.

After the slaughtering of the sacrificial animal was finished, it was followed by a friendly event attended by Assistants, Heads of SKPD or those representing the East Kalimantan Provincial Government as well as all employees and women of the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda with their families and also attended by former Heads of the East Kalimantan Bappeda including H. Sulaiman Gafur and H. Adi Buhari, former echelon III officials, Hermain Okol and several former East Kalimantan Bappeda staff totaling approximately one hundred fifty people.

The implementation of a friendly event to welcome Eid al-Adha 1435 H, BAPPEDA of East Kalimantan Province in the Regional Police meeting room, Jln Kusuma Bangsa No. 2 Samarinda took the theme "the right momentum to care, love each other, share with each other sincerely as a form of our love for ALLAH SWT and His people" starting with the reading of the holy verses of the Koran by Syahruddin and the reading of Saritilawah by Hastati Patusuri, staff Provincial Bappeda East Kalimantan, the event continued with remarks from Plh. Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda and Secretary of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Ir.H. Nazrin, M.Si conveyed the message that "Welcoming Eid al-Adha 1435 H to increase love for others by sharing the meat of sacrificial animals with sincerity."

While delivering the lecture by Ustadz H. Azwar Qowin, he invited all those present to emulate our attitudes and actions in sacrificing like Prophet Ibrahim who willingly and sincerely sacrificed all his possessions, his own biological son, namely Prophet Ismail, to be sacrificed and with the permission of ALLAH SWT he was replaced with a sacrificial animal in the form of a goat.
