East Kalimantan Bappeda took part in enlivening the Development Parade Commemorating the 73rd Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia
SAMARINDA. The Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of East Kalimantan Province participated in enlivening the Samarinda City Development Parade in order to enliven the 73rd Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia (HUT) of the Proclamation of Independence of the Republic of Indonesia in 2018. This activity was carried out on 18 August 2018 in accordance with the Letter of the Regional Secretariat of East Kalimantan Province dated 31 July 2018 Number 003.1/3340/B.PPOD-I Regarding Development March. In the letter, all Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) in East Kalimantan Province are encouraged to participate as Parade participants.
Committee elements in activities that carry themes in accordance with the duties of each OPD are a combination of the Provincial Government. East Kalimantan and City Government. Samarinda, where the Samarinda City Communication and Information Service (Diskominfo) is the coordinator of the implementation of the Development Parade.
The development parade has become entertainment for the people of Samarinda City. The public was very enthusiastic about watching the parade which was divided into several categories, including Middle & High School Education, Government Institutions and Private. General Category, Drum Band Category, and District and Village Category. (fjr)
