Bappeda Kaltim Receives Visit from Bappelitbang Paser in Cooperative Study on Archives Management

Bappeda East Kalimantan Province received a visit from the Paser Regency Research and Development Planning Agency (Bappelitbang) in the context of a cooperative study regarding the management of the transfer of inactive archives. This visit was led by Achmad Rissa, Head of the General Subdivision of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, and was attended by employees and archives staff.

This visit aims to study the archive management system, especially in the transfer of inactive archives from the processing unit to the archives unit. Achmad Risa, Head of the General Subdivision of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, welcomed the arrival of the group and stated the importance of this kind of cooperative study activity in strengthening archive management capacity in the regional government environment.

"We would like to express our gratitude for the visit of the Paser Regency Bappelitbang. Through discussions and "By sharing experiences, we can continue to improve the records management system to be more efficient and transparent. We hope that this can also be a positive step to improve administrative governance in our respective regions," said Achmad Risa in his speech.

During the visit. , employees and Bappelitbang Paser archives staff were invited to have a direct dialogue with the East Kalimantan Bappeda archives team regarding how to manage and also the challenges and solutions in managing inactive archives. The discussion focused on the importance of leadership support in managing archives regarding maintaining the neatness and security of archives that are no longer active, as well as transferring archives.

Currently, the special building for the East Kalimantan Bappeda Archives itself is in the process of being built. This building will later be used for storing archives and documents of the East Kalimantan Bappeda in accordance with archival storage standards.

With this cooperative study, the East Kalimantan Bappeda opens up opportunities for collaboration and discussion space regarding professional archive management, as part of efforts to improve the quality of administration and public services in East Kalimantan Province.
