Indonesia-Malaysia Defense Diplomacy The impact that occurred in the defense strategy of the capital of the new country of Indonesia
Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Prof. Dr. Ir. H.M. Aswin MM represented the Governor of East Kalimantan to become a resource person in the Domestic Work Lecture (KKDN) of the Faculty of Defense Strategy (FSP) Study Program Diplomacy International Defense, University of the Republic of Indonesia, Thursday (02/17/22).
"The election of East Kalimantan Province as the location of the new country's capital with predetermined criteria starting in geographical locations in the middle of Indonesian territory representing justice, fulfilling defense and security parameters, to low social conflict potential", Prof. Aswin explained.
further stated that related to the transfer of state capital to East Kalimantan Province, adjustments have been made to planning documents both at the provincial and district/city levels while still guiding the RPJMN, RKP, and National RTRW, so that regional strategic projects will be directed towards support for the construction of the state capital.
the event moderated by Major General Karmin Suharna as a permanent lecturer at the Defense University and was attended by elements of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, the North Penajam Paser Regency Government, the Central Government Institution, Military Institutions, Defense Observers, and Postgraduate Studies Program Diplomacy Diplomacy Diplomacy Diplomacy Diplomacy of International Defense Defense.
The expectations to be achieved through the implementation of this activity are the achievement of a deep understanding of the knowledge and strategic steps of border diplomacy and the impact that may occur on the preparation of the state capital in North Penajam, East Kalimantan, so that it can become input in theory and practical to the Indonesian government to be able to overcome threats related to borders in Kalimantan Island.
