Director of Forestry and Conservation of Bappenas Water Resources, Teams from USAID, and Head of Bappeda faced the Governor of East Kalimantan to introduce the Fresh USAID project in East Kalimantan and at the same time requested the direction of the Governor of East Kalimantan
Wednesday, 12/01/2022 Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda together with the Director of Forestry and Conservation of Bappenas Water Resources and Representatives from USAID facing the Governor of East Kalimantan to convey the development of the Fresh USAID project activities in East Kalimantan.
In the framework of cooperation between the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas and USAID in carrying out the Sustainable Environmental Governance Across Regions (Fresh) project for the 2021-2025 period in East Kalimantan Province, a Fresh Project Team Hearing from the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas and USAID with the East Kalimantan Provincial Government through the related OPD.
As the Bappeda review that had previously been delivered to the Governor, this fresh program would certainly be very positive for East Kalimantan to support East Kalimantan's sustainable development.
This fresh project activity is expected to have a basis for work plans and division of tasks based on the Governor's MoU or instruction as a representative of the central government in the regions. With this basis, it will clarify the role of OPD in the scope of East Kalimantan Province in supporting a fresh project which is a collaboration between the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas and USAID for the period 2021-2025.
The location of this fresh USAID activity was carried out in 12 districts in 4 provinces, while for East Kalimantan Province is located in Berau, East Kutai, and Mahakam Ulu.
