Final Dissemination of Monitoring and Evaluation of the Application of Minimum Service Standards (SPM) in 2019 and 2020

< strong style="box-sizing: border-box;">Samarinda, (3/11/2020). Head of Subdivision of Control and Evaluation Muhammad Hamsani, ST, M.Si virtually took part in the Final Dissemination of Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of the 2019 and 2020 SPM organized by the National Development Planning Agency.

Activity This was opened by Plt. Director of Regional Development, Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, Mrs. Mia Amalia, and followed by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of PUPR, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and Culture, Ministry of Social Affairs, National Disaster Management Agency, Ministry of Religion, Provincial Bappeda and Provincial Government Divisions throughout Indonesia (174 Participants ).

Activity This aims to convey the results of Monitoring and Evaluation of the Implementation of SPM in 2019 and 2020. Implementation of evaluation of the implementation of SPM in the regions in the context of improving macro development indicators both nationally and regionally and is the mandate of Law 23 of 2014 regarding SPM, and for 2020 it is hoped that the integration of SPM indicators in planning and budgeting documents (annual) at both the Ministry/Agency level and the Provincial and Regency/City Governments.

Hamsani conveyed that the achievements of SPM implementation in regions with macro development indicators in 2019 specifically for East Kalimantan Province had achieved the following, SPM Implementation Achievements in the very high category; Human development indicators achieved in the high category; Fiscal capacity indicators achieved in the very high category; The level of poverty reduction is in the very high category, and the unemployment rate is low.

Hamsani said that there was a need for follow-up action in the form of improving general and technical understanding regarding data collection (by name by address, planning, implementation and monitoring and evaluation of SPM. This contribution is expected to be driven by the budget of the Ministry of Home Affairs, KL SPM Sector and the regions themselves, especially Provinces; Encourage asymmetric policies based on regional typologies to implement SPM; Implementation of rewards and punishments for SPM; both at the central and regional levels periodically.
