Announced at the Implementation of the Provincial RKPD Musrenbang. East Kalimantan, Balikpapan and Kutai Kartanegara Successfully Became the Best Cities and Regencies in the 2022 East Kalimantan PPD
One of the agendas in the series of events in the implementation of the East Kalimantan Province RKPD Musrenbang which will be held on April 20 2022 at the Odah Etam Pendopo, East Kalimantan Governor's Office is the announcement and giving of awards to Regencies and Cities best in Regional Development or PPD Kaltim 2022 which is based on the results of interviews conducted on February 15 2022 at the Four Point Balikpapan hotel.

In the category of best City Government, Balikpapan succeeded as the best, then in second place was achieved by the City of Samarinda, and third place was achieved by the City of Bontang.

Meanwhile, the first best Regency Government category was Kutai Kartanegara Regency, followed by Paser Regency in second place and the third best title was achieved by Berau Regency.

This award is given as a form of appreciation for producing quality planning, achieving regional development targets and also development innovations that have been carried out. The award this time was handed over directly by the Governor of East Kalimantan (Mr. Isran Noor) accompanied by the Head of Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province (Mr. Prof. Dr. Ir. HM Aswin MM).

The hope is that in the future, all regencies/cities that have not been successful on this occasion can further improve the quality of planning and implementation of development in their regions so that they can be the best on the next occasion.
