Samarinda, Wednesday 10/2/2016. Governor of East Kalimantan, Dr.H. Awang Faroek Ishak on behalf of the President of the Republic of Indonesia inaugurated and swear 
Ceremony of taking the oath of office and inauguration of the Association of the Regional Secretary of the Regional Secretary of the Province of East Kalimantan was attended by the Regent/Mayor, TNI/Polri, SKPD Officials and Staff Scope of the Provincial Government of East Kalimantan, CSO or NGOs and Community Leaders.
Dr.Ir.H.Rusmadi MS as Head of Bappeda Province of East Kalimantan and at the same time as Plt. East Kalimantan Provincial Secretary for two (2) years was finally sworn in and was inaugurated today, Wednesday, February 10, 2016 by the Governor of East Kalimantan, Dr.H. Awang Faroek Ishak on behalf of the President of the Republic of Indonesia to fill the position of Regional Secretary of East Kalimantan Province replacing the old official Dr. Irianto Lambrie who has submitted himself to follow the nomination of the Governor and Deputy Governor of North Kalimantan.
The election of Dr.Ir.H. Rusmadi, MS as the Regional Secretary of the Province of East Kalimantan after going through an open selection process and the public test was attended by six (6) participants of the Candidates for the Secretary of the Provincial Secretary on Thursday, December 17, 2015, according to the mandate of Law No. 5 of 2014 concerning State Civil Apparatus (ASN), Permen-PAN No.13 of 2014 concerning Procedures for Filling High Leadership Positions Openly within the Government Agencies, until finally the appointment of the official referred to through the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia.
The Governor of East Kalimantan in his remarks would like to thank and congratulations to Dr.H.IR. Irianto Lambrie as the old official of the East Kalimantan Secretary of the Secretary of East Kalimantan and has now been elected as the Governor of North Kalimantan for the first time. "Dr.Ir.H. Irianto Lambrie is an example of a successful career and political official who can be an example for others and hopefully Kaltara Province will achieve progress and glory under the new governor's leadership. Said the Governor of East Kalimantan, Dr.H. Awang Faroek Ishak .
h. Awang Faroek Ishak conveyed a message to the newly appointed East Kalimantan Provincial Secretary and to other officials to be able to carry out their duties well and do not be afraid of carrying out policies as long as the policy sided with the interests of the people.
In addition, the Governor of East Kalimantan invited and invited all investors to invest in East Kalimantan and also advised the East Kalimantan officials and regents/mayors in East Kalimantan who were present to be able to provide convenience and serve the investors who entered in East Kalimantan and if There are problems in the regulations to serve investors, the regulations should be changed.
