FGD with the theme "Alternative Scheme of Financing for Development and Transfer of Capital Capital to East Kalimantan Province"
Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Prof. Dr. Ir. H.M. Aswin, MM became a guest speaker in Focus Group Discussion (FGD) with the theme "Alternative Scheme of Development and Transfer of State Capital (IKN) to East Kalimantan Province" which was held virtually by the Research Center for the DPR RI experts Agency, Friday (18/02/22).
As the explanation of the Minister of PPN/Bappenas in the National Dialogue on June 26, 2019, that the IKN financing scheme will prioritize the role of private, SOEs, and government cooperation with business entities (PPP), so that it will not be dominated by the state budget. The government will invite cooperation with the private sector for the use and optimization of assets.
Prof. Aswin conveyed the regarding potential of the buffer zone around IKN and several other regions in East Kalimantan to be the basis for the direction of regional policy in the East Kalimantan RKPD Ranwal in 2023. The provincial government also directed regional policies related to investment opportunities that will enter East Kalimantan based on the superior potential owned by the region and also directed at infrastructure development such as roads and others in the IKN buffer zone.
As a follow-up to the FGD carried out, Mrs. Ariesy Tri Maulen from the Research Center of the DPR Secretariat General Agency said that she would carry out a working visit to the IKN location with the scheduled team scheduled on Sunday (20/02).

"We from the East Kalimantan Bappeda are ready to assist for the implementation of work visits to the IKN location and later we can at the same time review the Sepaku Semoi Dam which is planned to be one of the raw water sources for the central area of the government in IKN and the surrounding area", he said.
