East Kalimantan Province Education and Culture Service Regional Apparatus Forum in 2022
Head of the Human Resources Development Sub Division of Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province, Mr. Said Aboe Hanifah, S.Sos, was present representing the Head of Bappeda, East Kalimantan Province, as a resource person at the 2022 East Kalimantan Province Education and Culture Service Regional Apparatus Forum event which was held online and offline at the Jatra Balikpapan hotel, Wednesday, 09/03/2022.
This Regional Apparatus Forum was carried out in order to refine the initial draft work plan (ranwal Renja) into a work plan (Renja) for the East Kalimantan Province Education and Culture Service (Disdikbud) in 2023, in accordance with the mandate of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 86 of 2017.
This event was attended by the Education and Culture Office of East Kalimantan Province and Regencies/Cities throughout East Kalimantan; Provincial Bappeda. East Kalimantan; as well as several other regional apparatuses related to the field of education and cultural development.
In the presentation session, Mr. Said Aboe conveyed the basic and main things in development planning contained in the P-RPJMD for East Kalimantan Province for 2019 - 2023 and the Draft RKPD for East Kalimantan Province for 2023. which need to be used as a reference in improving the initial draft of the Renja for the Education and Culture Service of East Kalimantan Province for 2023.
It was also conveyed that the Department of Education and Culture in East Kalimantan development planning plays a very important role in supporting the achievement of mission 1 "to be sovereign in the development of human resources with noble character, especially women, youth and people with disabilities"; goal 1 "to create human resources who are competitive, have character and have noble morals with a target human development index of 77.75"; target 1 "increasing the equality of the level of education in society with a target of expected years of schooling of 14.13 and an average length of schooling of 10.17".
Then it was conveyed that Disdikbud in carrying out its main tasks and functions needs to synergize with other Regional Apparatus so that it can run more optimally. The role of the Education and Culture Office is also very important, especially in preparing quality human resources who are ready to welcome the transfer of IKN. The East Kalimantan Provincial Government has made efforts to optimize the implementation of the "Kaltim Tuntas" scholarship, but it is also necessary to make efforts to improve educational supporting facilities and infrastructure as well as the availability of teaching and educational staff. Apart from that, it is also necessary to develop a vocational education roadmap which is of course in line with the development needs of the business world.
