Plantation Service Strategic Plan Regional Apparatus Forum
Balikpapan, (22/02/2023). Head of the Economic and Natural Resources Division, Mr. Wahyu Gatut Purboyo, S.Pi, M.Si attended the 2024-2026 Regional Strategic Plan Forum of the East Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Service as a resource person.

The activity which was carried out at the Novotel Hotel was opened by the General Administrative Assistant represented by the Head of the Provincial Industry and Trade and UKM Service. East Kalimantan Muhammad Sa'duddin, Ak.CA and attended by related OPDs, Vertical Agencies, Plantation Development Partners, and Departments in charge of Plantations in Regency/City.

In his presentation Mr. Wahyu explained that in the Regional Priorities in the Plantation sector there are several major projects in the East Kalimantan RPD for 2024-2026, including 1 Plantation Area based on farmer corporations in Paser Regency; Facilitation of the use of palm oil waste as a source of renewable energy to generate electricity for one company's own needs per year; and Protection of Areas with High Conservation Value (ANKT) in Plantation areas.

Speaking about the preparation of the 2024-2026 Regional Apparatus Strategic Plan draft document, Mr. Wahyu emphasized several things that need attention, especially the determination of goals and targets in the preparation of the 2024-2026 PD RENSTRA to pay attention goals and objectives of the 2024-2026 Provincial Regional Development Plan and norms, standards, procedures and criteria (NSPK) set by the Central Government.

Apart from that, it is also necessary to ensure the linkage of performance casecading between RPD and RENSTRA PD; The formulation of performance indicators and targets is carried out in a measurable and accountable manner; Measurable funding framework projections as input for formulating performance targets; and ensure that the IKU and IKD/IKK have been formulated carefully and agreed upon.
