The work visit of the Governor of East Kalimantan in West Kutai Regency
West Kutai, June 11, 2021 . The Governor of East Kalimantan and his entourage consisting of regional apparatus in the Province of East Kalimantan and related stakeholders and the National Road Implementation Center (BBPJN) conducted a working visit to the Governor of East Kalimantan to West Kutai Regency.
Starting the agenda, a governor and deputy governor's friendly event and his entourage with the West Kutai Regent were held. In the event the Governor delivered his response regarding the condition of infrastructure (roads) in West Kutai. Nearly about 30% more walking in West Kutai in a damaged condition. The road is a national road. Therefore, the Governor hopes that the damaged road can be immediately improved by the central government (in this case the BBPJN) which is also present at this working visit activity.
Furthermore, the Governor and Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan and his entourage visited a number of locations in West Kutai Regency. The first location visited was the rubber plantation which is a community plantation located in the village of Juaq Asa, Barong Tongkok District, West Kutai. At this location, an audience and dialogue between the Governor of East Kalimantan, the Regent of West Kutai, and the Head of the East Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Office and the Head of Juaq Asa Village and the local rubber plantation farmers. Furthermore, the Governor provides seed assistance from the provincial government to farmers and reviews the location of rubber plantations.
The second location visited at a working visit in West Kutai Regency is Chili Plantation, Sumber Bangun Village, Sekolaq Darat District, West Kutai. At this location also an audience and dialogue between the Governor and the Head of Sumber Bangun Village and the local farmer. Furthermore, the Governor provides agricultural equipment assistance to farmers and reviews the location of chili plantations to harvest the garden results.
The next location that closes a series of work visits by the Governor of East Kalimantan in West Kutai Regency is the location of the Underpass PT. Firman Ketaun Perkasa, Damai District, Muara Lawa Village. At this location, a review of the location and inauguration of PT. Firman Ketaun Perkasa, signing of the inauguration inscription, as well as the signing of the Minutes of Handover of Underpass Assets from PT. Firman Ketaun Perkasa to the Provincial Government of East Kalimantan. Furthermore, this underpass will be officially handed over to the Ministry of Public Works (in this case BBPJN), so that a wider use can be made for the community along with road maintenance when it is a national road.
