Head of Bappeda Prov. East Kalimantan was a resource person in the theme "CSR Company in East Kalimantan for?"
East Kalimantan Province is known to have abundant natural resources, one of which is from coal mineral resources. Until now there are around 30 companies with the status of the Coal Mining Concession Agreement (PKP2B) operating in Kalimantan. However, the number of companies operating is not directly proportional to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds obtained by the people of East Kalimantan as a form of corporate social responsibility to the community and the surrounding environment.

Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan, Mr. Hadi Mulyadi could not hide his disappointment when he learned that as many as 200 billion rupiah budget CSR education from coal companies none were given to the people of East Kalimantan.

Head of East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Prof. Dr. Ir. H.M Aswin, MM is present as a representative of the resource person from the elements of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government.

"East Kalimantan Provincial Government has done various things for this CSR, namely through the construction of a livable house for our community which is targeted to reach 5 thousand units every year", the Head of the Kaltim Bappeda explained.

further said that it is important for synergy between companies and their CSR, universities and the community which must be active in the achievement of good communication in the coordination node so that the company's social responsibility to the community and the surrounding environment can run well.

"not only mining companies, plantation companies, SOEs, banking, and other companies are expected to be united in establishing communication and coordination with related stakeholders so that the company's CSR funds are right on target", he said giving a closing statement in the discussion.
