PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON INITIAL PLAN OF P-RPJMD KALTIM 2019-2023 AND INITIAL PLAN OF RKPD KALTIM 2022
SAMARINDA - In accordance with the mandate of Minister of Home Affairs Regulation 86 of 2017 concerning Stages and Procedures for Planning, Controlling and Evaluation of Regional Development, the preparation of the Preliminary Draft Amendment to the 2019-2023 East Kalimantan Province RPJMD and the 2022 East Kalimantan Province RKPD Preliminary Draft must be discussed together with all stakeholders in the Public Consultation Forum to obtain input and suggestions for improvements.
The forum which was held virtually via the zoom meeting application today, Thursday 18/02/2021, was attended by the Governor and Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan Province along with elements of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, East Kalimantan Province Regional Apparatus, Vertical Agencies, AD HOC Institutions, Academics, Banking, BUMD, Professional Associations, Development Partners, Business Organizations, Community Organizations and Community Figures.
In his speech and direction, the Governor of East Kalimantan, Dr. Ir. H. Isran Noor, M.Si., conveyed 3 important points, namely the importance of the development planning process, policy synergy, and strengthening funding, which are three important points for districts and cities to accelerate East Kalimantan's development during the current Covid-19 pandemic.
Starting the forum, the Head of P3D Bappeda Kaltim, Charmarijaty, ST., M.Si., as chairman of the implementing committee, conveyed that the process for changing the East Kalimantan RPJMD was carried out simultaneously with the 2022 RKPD, starting with a 2-year evaluation of the implementation of the RPJMD in mid-November 2020 to mid-January 2021.
“In general, the substance of the changes to the 2019-2023 RPJMD includes changes to the strategy and direction of the RPJMD policies which are adjusted to national development policies as stipulated in Presidential Regulation Number 18 of 2020 concerning the 2020-2024 RPJMN regarding the Priority of Moving the National Capital to East Kalimantan and Major National Project in East Kalimantan," continued the Head of P3D.
Head of Bappeda Kaltim, Prof. Dr. Ir.H. M. Aswin, M.M., in his presentation explained the background to the changes to the 2019-2023 RPJMD and the 2022 RKPD Ranwal.
"The important thing behind the changes to the 2019-2023 East Kalimantan RPJMD is related to several key regional performance indicator targets that need to be adjusted taking into account the impact of Covid-19 which affects regional economic and financial performance, so that the final RPJMD performance targets need to be adjusted," said Dr. Ir.H. M. Aswin in his presentation.
