Samarinda City RKPD Ranwal Public Consultation for 2023
Secretary of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Charmarijaty, S.T., M.Si representing the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda attended the 2023 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) Public Consultation Forum, Tuesday (02/03/2022).
In her presentation, Mrs. Charmarijaty said that one of the directions of development policy for the City of Samarinda in the RKPD of East Kalimantan Province for 2023 is Social Strengthening.
Furthermore, it is hoped that social strengthening in Samarinda City can be developed by developing a measurable priority scale, such as the focus that needs to be made in North Samarinda District, considering that some areas have very high levels of poverty compared to other sub-districts. On the other hand, it is hoped that the priority direction of development policy in the City of Samarinda will also be directed at improving flood control facilities which include the Karang Asam Kecil, Karang Mumus, Sentos-Remaja-A.Yani (SEMANI), Loa Janan and Rapak Jalan systems so that flood control efforts can be implemented optimally for the common good.
For your information, this public consultation event is one of the stages to gather community aspirations or hopes regarding regional development goals, targets and programs to support the Preliminary Draft RKPD of Samarinda City.
In the event, the Mayor of Samarinda, Dr. H. Andi Harun opened and gave directions to ± 117 meeting participants who attended virtually from elements of Regional Apparatus within the Samarinda City Government and other related stakeholders.
"I hope that all parties can establish coordination and synergy by putting aside sectoral egos so that the Acceleration of Post-Pandemic Development and Human Resource Improvement in the City of Samarinda can be optimized together," he said giving direction.
