Coordination and Workshop on Strengthening Posyandu at East Kalimantan Province Level
Monday, December 20 2021. East Kalimantan Bappeda represented by the Government and Human Development Sector Attends Coordination and Workshop on Strengthening Posyandu at Provincial Level
"Bappeda plays a role in coordinating general planning, program and budget support and evaluation," said Andrie Asdi when he was a resource person at the coordination activities and workshop on Strengthening Posyandu at the East Kalimantan Province level.
Health is one of the strategic issues of the 2019-2023 East Kalimantan RPJMDP which supports the governor's vision of being sovereign in the development of human resources with noble character and competitiveness, especially women, youth and people with disabilities.
Posyandu is a form of community-based health effort (UKBM) which is managed and organized from, by, for and with the community in implementing health development.
The existence of posyandu is very necessary in bringing promotive and preventive efforts closer to the community, especially related to efforts to improve the nutritional status of the community, maternal and child health efforts, and reducing stunting.
Activities related to reducing stunting, MMR and IMR; as well as involving the role of multi-sectors including non-government in efforts to reduce stunting, MMR, IMR.
