Visit from the No-Smoking Area Assessment Team (KTR)
Samarinda (18/10/2023), East Kalimantan Province Bappeda received a visit from the No-Smoking Area Assessment Team (KTR) organized by the East Kalimantan Provincial Health Service.
The evaluation of the implementation of KTR was carried out as an effort to improve the implementation of East Kalimantan Provincial Regulation Number 5 of 2017 concerning smoke-free areas within the Regional Government.
The assessment team assigned to assess the East Kalimantan Bappeda came from the Department of Communication and Information (Diskominfo), the Department of Food Crops and Horticulture, the Department of Manpower and Transmigration, the Department of Investment and One Integrated Service Pintu (DPMPTSP) and Organization Bureau.
The indicators for assessing non-smoking areas include no smoking signs, no cigarette advertisements or promotions, no ashtrays or lighters, no cigarette sales, cigarette butts, or smells. cigarettes, people smoking and smoking rooms in the building. Meanwhile, the places assessed by the KTR Team included the first floor, corridor, canteen, garden, secretary's work room and also the toilet.
It is hoped that this KTR implementation review activity can increase or maintain commitment within the Regional Government to maintain clean, healthy air and free from cigarette smoke.
