Governor of East Kalimantan's Working Visit to the Belayan Bridge Construction Site
Still in the series of working visits by the Governor of East Kalimantan to inland locations, rivers and lakes in Kutai Kartanegara Regency, the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda with his entourage and the Regent of Kutai Kartanegara accompanied the Governor of East Kalimantan to inspect the bridge construction site in the Belayan river area built by the Bayan Group (PT Fajar Sakti Prima) on Monday, December 6 2021.
The bridge on the Belayan river, Tabang sub-district, was built with a budget of approximately 45 million US dollars. The bridge, which is 530 meters long and 7 meters wide, will later function as a coal hauling transportation route and a route for the general public. This bridge will later connect the Kutai Kartanegara, West Kutai and East Kutai districts. Currently, construction progress is at 68.87% and is targeted to be completed in April 2022.
The infrastructure development program carried out by a company like this should be an example for other companies in contributing to regional development in East Kalimantan, especially for ease of regional accessibility and improving the economy of the surrounding community.
