Regional Leadership Communication Circle for Green Development in East Kalimantan
As an effort to gain exchange of information and experience regarding the implementation of authority in the framework of green development planning for elements of Regency/City Regional Leadership, Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province together with DDPI East Kalimantan and the Nusantara Nature Conservation Foundation (YKAN) held an East Kalimantan Regional Leadership Communication Circle for Green Development by inviting all Regency/City regional leaders and related OPDs in East Kalimantan who had implemented green development activities and programs on Tuesday (07/06/2022).

Head of Bappeda Kaltim, Prof. Dr. Ir. H.M. Aswin, MM was the resource person and delivered at the event.

"Green development activities in East Kalimantan Province are currently included in the Regency/City Regional Apparatus Strategic Plan," explained the Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda.

It was further stated that there are a total of 97 programs and 187 activities in 8 districts/cities related to green development in East Kalimantan.

The event, which was held live and online, was opened by Prof. Dr. Daddy Ruhiyat as Daily Chair of the East Kalimantan DDPI and attended by the Governor of East Kalimantan along with the Related Regional Apparatus and all elements of Regency/City Regional Leadership who were present online.

In this event, elements of the District/City Leadership conveyed the perspective of the District/City Government in East Kalimantan on the issue of green development, the enabling conditions needed and the inhibiting factors in its implementation. This will then be used as input for improving regulations and policies at the East Kalimantan Province level.
