On the fourth day (Monday, 20 December 2021) the Governor of East Kalimantan's visit to the northern region inspected the location of the Dumaring River park.
The Secretary and division of the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province together with other members of the group including the Governor's Team for the Acceleration of Development (Mr. Adi Buhari and Mr. Zairin Zain) were also present to accompany the implementation of this activity.
Dumaring River Park is a collaborative effort built in the Dumaring forest area by the Regional Government, the community and other parties related to environmental management. Dumaring Forest has an area of around 10 hectares. Dumaring River Park is a form of optimizing community economic improvement based on aspects of natural resources (environment) and society. Currently, Dumaring River Park has been designated as a tourist village.
On this occasion, the Governor of East Kalimantan handed over 2,100 palm oil production tools, fruit seeds and wood.
The Governor of East Kalimantan appreciates the construction of the Dumaring river park because this is a manifestation of the Regional Government's commitment to preserving nature and also improving the community's economy by paying attention to environmental aspects.
Next, the Governor and his entourage continued their activities to the corn planting location in Sumber Mulya village, Talisayan subdistrict.
