East Kalimantan POLDA Development Planning Deliberation for 2022
Secretary of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Mrs. Charmarijaty, ST, M.Si representing the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda was present as a resource person at the Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang) in the Context of Preparing the Police Work Plan in the East Kalimantan Province Region in 2023 which was held at the Grand Tjokro Balikpapan Hotel on Thursday, July 28 2022.

The 2022 POLDA Musrenbang agenda carries the theme "POLDA Kaltim Presisi Ready to Support Increased Productivity for Inclusive and Sustainable Economic Transformation". This event was attended by elements of the Police in the East Kalimantan Province (Polda, Polres and Polsek) especially those in charge of program planning.

Kapolda Kaltim, Mr. Inspector General of Police Drs. Imam Sugianto, M.Si gave directions and opened the implementation of this activity. Several things were emphasized by him in his direction to all participants present, including the importance of preparing activity programs that are directed at optimally supporting national priorities so that they are right on target, especially in relation to securing the 10 (ten) major national projects in the East Kalimantan region; support for aspects of economic recovery; increasing the quality of professionalism of police human resources; as well as strengthening the role of Sector Police and District Police in efforts to improve services to the community.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Charmarijaty (Mrs. Nona as she is known) conveyed in her presentation the importance of the role of the National Police in supporting the success of national and regional policies, especially in relation to increasing productivity for inclusive and sustainable economic transformation. POLRI, in this case the East Kalimantan POLDA, plays a very important role in maintaining conducive security in East Kalimantan which will have an impact on creating a conducive investment climate in East Kalimantan.

Furthermore, an overview of the problems still being faced by the Provincial and Regency/City Governments in East Kalimantan, especially in achieving macro development indicator targets which lead to several basic problems such as high levels of poverty, open unemployment, income inequality and a decline in the quality of the environment, is also presented. The description of the problem needs to be understood so that later in preparing the activity program carried out by the East Kalimantan POLDA it can also be directed towards solving the problems faced.

At the end of the presentation, it was also conveyed about the importance of optimizing the database and identifying fundamental/concrete problems faced by the East Kalimantan POLDA before preparing the activity program that will be carried out by the East Kalimantan POLDA so that the activity program prepared can be more targeted and optimal. Intensive coordination with the Provincial and Regency/City Governments also needs to be carried out to align the work plans prepared.
