Signing of MoU & Talk Show Overseeing and Organizing New IKN in Sepaku and Samboja
Tuesday 6 July 2021, Head of Bappeda East Kalimantan Province Prof. Dr. Ir. H. M. Aswin, MM accompanied East Kalimantan Governor Isran Noor to attend the Signing of the Mou & Talk Show on Overseeing and Managing New IKN in Sepaku & Samboja, East Kalimantan, virtually via Zoom meeting in the HOB Room of the East Kalimantan Governor's office.
This activity was organized by Balikpapan University and attended by Balikpapan University, Mulawarman University, Gajah Mada University, Bosowa University, Indonesian Engineers Association, PPU Regional Secretary
Regarding the plan to move the New State Capital to East Kalimantan, Isran said in his speech that both the government and the people of East Kalimantan welcomed the plan with joy, according to him the move of IKN to East Kalimantan was a step forward to change disparities and create an even distribution of prosperity in areas outside Java.
"I personally believe that moving the National Capital will not only have a good impact on East Kalimantan but also for the progress of Indonesia as a whole," he said.
This webinar was also coupled with the signing of a memorandum of agreement between Balikpapan University and the Indonesian Engineers Association, Balikpapan University with Gajah Mada University, Balikpapan University with Bosowa University, and an agreement between Balikpapan University and the North Penajam Paser Regency Government.
