In accordance with the mandate of Law Number 25 of 2004 and Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 86 of 2017, the Initial Draft Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) must be discussed together with all stakeholders in the Public Consultation Forum to obtain input and suggestions for improving the document.
In connection with this, the Paser Regency Government is carrying out a Public Consultation Forum together with relevant stakeholders.
Head of Bappeda Kaltim, Prof. Dr. Ir. H.M. Aswin, MM was one of the speakers at the Forum.
"What needs to be included in the development plan in Paser Regency is the opportunity with the momentum of East Kalimantan's election as IKN and the enactment of the Bill on National Capital which will certainly have a positive impact on 10 regencies/cities in East Kalimantan, one of which is Paser Regency," said Prof. Aswin in his presentation to all participants of the District Public Consultation Forum. It was further stated that in the IKN development process, it is certain that there will be an increase in the need for food. Therefore, Kab. Paser as a food barn is expected to have high competitiveness regarding opportunities to fulfill existing needs and be able to compete with competitors from outside the region.
