Refreshing the organization, the governor of East Kalimantan appointed 91 East Kalimantan provincial government officials

The Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, Muhaimin, ST, MT, was officially appointed and took the oath of office by the Governor of East Kalimantan H. Rudy Mas'ud along with 90 other officials within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government. The inauguration took place in the Ruhui Rahayu Room, East Kalimantan Governor's Office, Monday (22/12/2025).


This inauguration includes seven Primary High Leadership Officials as well as 84 Administrator and Supervisory Officials. Apart from the Head of the East Kalimantan Bappeda, the Pratama High Leadership officials who were inaugurated included Field II Expert Staff, Head of the Regional Library and Archives Service, Head of the Food, Food Crops and Horticulture Service, Head of the BPBD Executive, Head of the Environment Service, and Head of the East Kalimantan Province Transportation Service. The inauguration of officials is part of strengthening institutions and improving the performance of the government bureaucracy. According to him, position rotation and promotions are a momentum to enrich the experience of the apparatus and encourage the development of ASN careers in a professional and sustainable manner.


Apart from that, the Governor invited all ASNs to continue to foster empathy and social concern, including towards brothers and sisters affected by disasters in other areas. ASN is expected to be able to demonstrate its role as the nation's glue by being responsive, civilized and active in various situations.


Towards the end of 2025, development challenges and increasing community expectations are becoming a major concern. The Governor emphasized the importance of more real, responsive and optimal performance of ASN in supporting the regional development agenda.


Closing his remarks, the Governor hoped that the newly appointed officials, including within the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, could carry out their duties and responsibilities optimally to support the progress and welfare of the people of Kalimantan Timur.
