Phase III Green Growth Steering Committee Meeting
Jakarta, (03/27/2023). Bappeda Prov. East Kalimantan was represented by the Head of Economy and Natural Resources, Mr. Gatut Wahyu, attended the Green Growth Steering Committee Meeting at the Gran Melia Jakarta Hotel Meeting.

This activity was attended by the Ministry of PPN/Bappenas, the Ministry of LHK, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Transportation, the Peat and Mangrove Restoration Agency, East Kalimantan Province, South Kalimantan Province, South Kalimantan Province, South Kalimantan Province, South Kalimantan Province, South Kalimantan Province, North Kalimantan Province, West Kalimantan Province, Central Kalimantan Province, GGGI, Denmark Ambassador, New Zealand Ambassador, Canadian Ambassador, Norwegian Ambassador, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea.

This meeting is the first director's meeting in the implementation of the Green Phase III Growth Program and forming the Phase III Green Growth Steering Committee. The formation of the committee was carried out to ensure the harmony of projects under the green growth program with national development targets, both at the center and regions. This meeting aims to discuss the implementation of the Green Phase III Growth Program and the projects below.

On this occasion Mr. Wahyu conveyed some of the achievements of activities in GGP carried out in East Kalimantan in the April 2021-March 2023. emissions and deforestation and degradation of forests, as well as related to Sustainable Development Objectives (TPB).

Mr. Wahyu conveyed the support given by us most in the area is the assistance and supply of experts to the required technical matters such as carbon calculation, safguard, the distribution of benefits of incentives of emissions decreases, Benefits are not carbon and others. This support is currently still provided by GGGI through the National PMU FCPF-Carbon Fund.

Next regarding the purpose of sustainable development. Mr. Wahyu said that his party experienced human resource constraints in identifying and utilizing TPB into the planning process, but with the support of GGGI it could be possible to monitor and evaluate TPB. "We in Bappeda have difficulty and the limitations of human resources to be able to identify and use TPB information into our regional development planning process. GGGI support under the umbrella of cooperation with Mulawarman University, has allowed us to monitor, evaluate and report TPB online. This application will continue to be developed in the future, "he explained
