Technical Meeting for Community Plantation Development in East Kalimantan
The East Kalimantan Provincial Plantation Service held a 2022 East Kalimantan Community Plantation Development Technical Meeting for Activity Implementers and Regency/City Technical Teams which was held at the Harris Samarinda Hotel, Tuesday (24/05/2022).

The event, which was opened by the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Plantation Service, Mr. Ujang Rachmad, was held in order to accelerate the implementation of activities in the Agricultural Infrastructure, Area and Commodity Development Planning Program.

Head of Bappeda East Kalimantan Province, Prof. Dr. Ir. H.M. Aswin, MM was the resource person at the event.

In his presentation, he conveyed the Government's Direction and Policy in Supporting Community Plantation Development in 2023 in East Kalimantan.

"The direction and policies of the East Kalimantan Provincial Government in the 2023 RKPD to support the development of community plantations in 2023 in East Kalimantan include, among other things, realizing quality economic growth through increasing the productivity and quality of agricultural production (in the broadest sense) through developing production center areas," he explained.

It was further stated that agricultural production (in the broadest sense) includes the food crop and horticultural sectors, livestock, plantations, fisheries and forestry.
