Position Evaluation Meeting
Balikpapan, 10/20/2022. East Kalimantan Province Bappeda is represented by Plt. Head of General Subdivision (Mr. Jerry Pahlevy Mahakam, S.E) accompanied by technical staff attended the "Position Evaluation Meeting" held by the Regional Secretariat Organization Bureau of East Kalimantan Province at the Swisbell Hotel Balikpapan.

The Head of the East Kalimantan Province Regional Secretariat Organization Bureau (Mr. Iwan Setiawan, S.Sos, M.AP) opened the meeting. The event was attended by representatives of personnel departments from all Regional Apparatus within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government.

Young Policy Analyst of the Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (Mrs. Mita Nezky, SE, ME) was present as a resource person at the meeting, explaining "Evaluation of Positions within Government Agencies".

Several things that were noted during the meeting included the basis for implementing job evaluations using Law No. 5 of 2014 article 79, PP No. 11 of 2017 article 46, PP No. 17 of 2020 article 99 paragraph 3; The types of positions in job evaluation are structural positions (high leadership positions, administrator positions, supervisory positions), functional positions (general/executing, and specific/functional);

PermenpanRB No.41 of 2018 is currently being revised; Regarding job descriptions in each position, a Governor's Regulation will soon be drafted which will function to regulate this matter for uniform steps in Regional Apparatus; Evaluation of positions proposed by the PPK can be carried out based on conditions of changes in SOTK, changes in main functional tasks, changes in authority, changes in job analysis and workload analysis, changes in job maps, changes in position factor information, and changes in job evaluation results; With regard to proposals for functional position formation adjusted to the position map and results of equalization of positions in accordance with PermenpanRB No. 41 of 2018, it needs to be immediately proposed by Regional Apparatus to the Organizational Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of East Kalimantan Province; Employees whose positions have been equalized to functional positions can still be promoted based on the attachment to PermenpanRB No.17 of 2021.
