EAST KALIMANTAN BAPPEDA COORDINATION MEETING 2019 "ESTABLISHING THE COMMITMENT OF PROVINCIAL AND DISTRICT/CITY GOVERNMENTS IN EAST KALIMANTAN"
Tenggarong, (19/2/2019). In the context of preparing the Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) for East Kalimantan Province 2020, the Provincial and Regency/City Regional Development Planning Boards throughout East Kalimantan held a meeting Coordination in Tenggarong, Kutai Kartanegara Regency.
The 2019 Bappeda Coordination Meeting in East Kalimantan was held for 2 (two) days, where the opening was held on February 18 2019 and continued with presentations and discussions on February 19 2019.
Apparently present at the opening of the Bappeda Coordination Meeting, Governor of East Kalimantan, Dr. Ir. H. Isran Noor, M.Si also opened the event, the Regent of Kutai Kartanegara Edi Damansyah, the Head of the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda and the Head of the City Regency Bappeda throughout East Kalimantan.
The 2019 East Kalimantan Bappeda coordination meeting is an important and strategic agenda held to identify problems, strategic issues and synergize priority programs of the Provincial and Regency/City Governments in preparing the 2020 RKPD.
The theme of the RKPD of East Kalimantan Province for 2020 is "Development of Human Resource Potential, Utilization of Technology and Regional Infrastructure that Supports Added Economic Value" which is an elaboration of the Development Vision of the East Kalimantan RPJMD for 2018-2023, namely "Daring for a Sovereign East Kaimantan"
The Regent of Kutai Kartanegara, Edi Damansyah, in his speech said that Kutai Kartanegara Regency fully supports the development policy of East Kalimantan Province which takes a development approach based on regional potential by determining strategic activity location points in several regions as centers of new economic growth, considering that this strategy has The influence of spreadability or externalities is positive, therefore, directly or indirectly, Kutai Kartanegara must contribute to success, especially from a regional development perspective.
On this basis, Edi said that integrated policies between regions, both horizontally and vertically, are needed, especially in synergizing the implementation of government administration authority, in this case Kutai Kartanegara hopes that the quality of roads between districts, cities and provinces will be of serious concern, considering that the quality of regional infrastructure is an important point in encouraging the regional economy.
On the same occasion, the Governor of East Kalimantan, Isran Noor, explained that regarding inter-regional cooperation, such as road infrastructure, there are actually no problems, "Regarding inter-regional cooperation, for example, there was cooperation in the construction of road infrastructure between Kutai Kartanegara and East Kutai from Sebulu to Muara. Bengkal. "Then this can be done jointly by the Provincial Government, Kutai Kartanegara Regency Government, East Kutai Regency Government and area owners, both HTI and palm oil," he explained.
Isran further said that East Kalimantan as a whole is said to have abundant natural resources along with Kutai Kartanegara but is still lagging behind in all kinds of infrastructure. There are still many poor people. This is a challenge that we must work on together. Without us exercising joint strength in fighting for the interests of society we will never get good results.
You need to know that the development of the 2020 RKPD focuses on 6 priorities including: 1) Equal distribution of Education and Health Services, 2) Development of Technology-based Vocational and Vocational Education, 3) Strengthening the Role and Capacity of the Community Economy, 4) Equity and Increasing Central Connectivity - Production center, 5) Increasing the Security of Water Resources, Energy and Environmental Carrying Capacity, 6) Increasing Governance and Capacity Regional Government.
The 2017 Bappeda Coordination Meeting in East Kalimantan presented speakers from the National Development Planning Agency of the Republic of Indonesia Drs. Oktorialdi, MA, PhD (Expert Staff to the Minister for Equity and Regional Affairs) to convey the Policy Direction for the Government Work Plan (RKP) for 2020.< /p>
Meanwhile, the 2019 East Kalimantan Bappeda Coordination Meeting resulted in 6 (six) draft agreements signed by all Provincial and Regency/City Bappedas throughout East Kalimantan which are summarized as follows:
- The results of the Coordination Meeting of Bappeda throughout East Kalimantan in 2019 will then be used as material for improving the Preliminary Draft of the 2020 Provincial and Regency/City RKPD;
- As an effort to build synchronization and synergy between RKP, Provincial RKPD and Regency/City RKPD, the direction of regional development policy becomes a reference in preparing the 2020 Regency/City RKPD. The direction of regional development policy is:
- Potential Development of 3 (three) Lakes in Kutai Kartanegara Regency
- Development of the Maloy Special Economic Zone in East Kutai Regency
- Development of the Kariangau Industrial Area in Balikpapan City
- Fulfillment of Raw Water Sources and Flood Control in Bontang City
- Clean Water Sources and Flood Control in Samarinda City
- Increasing Agricultural Productivity in Paser Regency
- Development of the KSPN Derawan Area and Surrounding Areas in Berau Regency
- Agricultural development in West Kutai Regency
- Agricultural Development in North Penajam Paser Regency
- Accessibility of Land Transportation and Telecommunications in Mahakan Ulu Regency
- The direction of regional development policy as referred to in the second dictum is an inseparable part of the minutes of this agreement, which will then be discussed in more detail at the 2019 East Kalimantan Province Regional Apparatus Forum and Pre-Musrenbang RKPD;
- Regarding the 2020 economic growth and poverty targets for each Regency/City, corrections/input/sharpening will be submitted to the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province no later than the third week of March 2019;
- The implementation of the 2019 Regency/City RKPD Musrenbang will be carried out no later than the third week of March 2019 and the 2019 Provincial RKPD Musrenbang in the first week of April 2019;
- The 2020 East Kalimantan Bappeda Coordination Meeting will be held in North Penajam Paser Regency no later than the second week of February 2020. (ft)
