The coordination meeting discusses the readiness of the IKN Nusantara development in East Kalimantan Province between the Provincial Government Regional Apparatus. Conducting a working visit to East Kalimantan Province in order to hold a coordination meeting to discuss the readiness of IKN Nusantara development in East Kalimantan Province, Tuesday (12/04/2022).

This coordination meeting is intended to collect data and intelligence information about the potential threats related to national defense against the IKN Nusantara development plan in the East Kalimantan Province. These data and information will be an input and consideration for the Coordinating Minister for Politics and Security to determine the National Defense Policy in order to carry out coordination, synchronization and control of policies with K/L related to the preparation of aspects of national defense in supporting the development of IKN Nusantara.

Coordination Meeting held at the East Kalimantan Governor's Office and was attended by ± 52 participants consisting of regional apparatus in the East Kalimantan and Regency/City and related stakeholders in the Head of East Kalimantan Province, Prof. Dr. H.M. Aswin, MM, representing the Governor of East Kalimantan.

As a follow -up to the integration, the theme of the East Kalimantan Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) in 2022 is a structural reform and strengthening regional competitiveness in order to welcome the IKN. "

further conveyed, currently East Kalimantan is also revised the Regional Spatial Plan (RTRW) which in which accommodates the IKN and RTRW integration plans with the zoning plan of coastal areas and small islands (RZWP3K). In the revision of this RTRWP, a change in forest area is 570,183 ha which includes proposed changes in allotment, proposed changes in functions and proposed new designations. The Provincial Government of East Kalimantan expects support from the central government, so that the revision of the East Kalimantan RTRWP can be completed immediately and be able to accommodate the IKN transfer plan properly.

In the coordination meeting also attended Plt. North Penajam Paser Regent (PPU), Mr. H. Ir. Hamdam and Regency Government elements. Kukar, which explained about the development and spatial problems of the PPU and Kukar Regencies as a supporting area of ​​the Capital City in supporting the smooth development of the Nusantara IKN.
