Samarinda, (21/03/2023). East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda through the Head of Government and Human Development at Provincial Bappeda. East Kalimantan Mr. Mispoyo, S.Pd., M.Pd attended the Coordination Meeting for Preparation of the Public Consultation Forum for 2023 Socio-Economic Registration Results Data held by the East Kalimantan Provincial Secretariat's Welfare Bureau and the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) in the Tepian 2 Meeting Room of the East Kalimantan Governor's Office.

In the meeting chaired by Assistant 1 for Government, Assistant I for Government and People's Welfare of the Regional Secretariat of East Kalimantan Province, Mr. M. Syirajuddin and Head of BPS East Kalimantan Province, Mrs. Dr. Yusniar Juliana SST, MIDEC was attended by relevant OPD within the East Kalimantan Provincial Government, development partners and other relevant stakeholders.

The aim of the coordination meeting is to improve the social protection program database and accelerate the elimination of extreme poverty, as well as being related to the Public Consultation Forum (FKP) data on the results of the Socio-Economic Registration (Regsosek ) which will be implemented by BPS in May 2023, so a coordination meeting between relevant stakeholders is needed.

For your information, the Socio-Economic Register (Regsosek) is a database of the entire population which contains profiles, social, economic conditions and levels of welfare which are connected to population master data and other databases up to village/sub-district level.

Furthermore, the urgency of implementing Regsosek is due to the limited socio-economic data covering all residents for determining development program targets and the quality standard control and timeliness of updating and program target data is still not implemented. very sectoral. Therefore, fulfilling the socio-economic regional database, especially the East Kalimantan region towards one Indonesian data, is important to synergize in the Public Consultation Forum (FKP) which will be implemented.
