Final Report Discussion Meeting Detailed Technical Planning Document
Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province through the Infrastructure and Regional sectors attended the Discussion Meeting of the Final Report of the Detailed Technical Planning Document (DED) and the Final Report of the Kukar-Bontang Regional SPAM Safeguard Study which was held online and offline at the Novotel Balikpapan Hotel by the Drinking Water Directorate, Director General of Human Settlements, Ministry of PUPR, Wednesday (01/03/2023).

In his speech, in order to accelerate Regional SPAM in East Kalimantan Province, the Directorate of Drinking Water, Directorate General of Human Settlements, Ministry of PUPR provided facilitation in terms of accelerating the preparation of Regional SPAM Planning Documents in East Kalimantan Province through the Accelerating Infrastructure Delivery Through Better Engineering Service Project (ESP) program to overcome challenges The availability of raw water is uneven between the Kukar-Bontang region through the Kukar-Bontang Regional SPAM which will serve Bontang City and Kutai Kartanegara Regency.

It was further stated that the discussion of the Final Report on the Detailed Technical Planning Document (DED) and the Final Report on the Kukar-Bontang Regional SPAM Safeguard Study is the final step in finalizing the Regional SPAM Planning Document in East Kalimantan Province, so that active participation is expected from all related parties to provide suggestions and input in this finalization stage.
