Action Plan Preparation Meeting for the 2024-2029 RAD-PG Draft for East Kalimantan Province
Samarinda, (03/10/2024) - The Economic and Natural Resources Sector (PSDA), has held a meeting of the Regional Food and Nutrition Action Plan (RAD-PG) for East Kalimantan Province 2024-2029 in the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda Repetada Meeting Room. The meeting was attended by Young Expert Planner Mrs. Agustina Rahmawati, S.Pi. along with PSDA staff, and several OPDs and Perum including DPTPH, Bulog, BBPOM, DINKES, DKP, DPKH, DISPERINDAGKOP, DINSOS, DPUPERA.
The meeting was held as a form of integration and harmonization of food and nutrition development planning in East Kalimantan through coordination of multi-sector programs and activities. RAD-PG has a strategic position in food and nutrition development because it serves as a guide for Regional Apparatus to provide sharpening actions towards predetermined activity priorities, so that it can be referred to by Regional Apparatus in preparing annual planning documents in the field of food and nutrition. RAD-PG has strategic objectives which include increasing the availability of Diverse, Nutritious, Balanced and Safe (B2SA) food, increasing the affordability of B2SA food, increasing the utilization of B2SA food and (Essential) Nutrition Services, and Strengthening institutions and governance of food and nutrition.< /p>
With the existence of RAD-PG, it is hoped that food and nutrition development in East Kalimantan Province can achieve the food and nutrition development targets set in the 2025-2030 RPJMD and create quality human resources who are healthy, intelligent, productive and highly competitive.
