Meeting for Preparation of Revisions and Regional Action Plans for Food & Nutrition (RAD-PG) and Evaluation of the Implementation of RAD-PG for East Kalimantan Province in 2021
Tuesday, 19 October 2021. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, represented by the Economic and Natural Resources Sector, carried out the activity "Preparation of Revisions and Regional Action Plans for Food and Nutrition and Evaluation of the Implementation of RAD-PG for East Kalimantan Province in 2021".
In connection with the publication of the National Action Plan for Food and Nutrition (RAN-PG) for 2021-2024 and changes to the Nomenclature of Programs/Activities in accordance with Minister of Home Affairs Regulation Number 90 of 2019 concerning Classification, Codification and Nomenclature of Regional Development and Financial Planning, a coordination meeting was held to discuss the Revised Working Paper and evaluate the implementation of 2021 at the Provincial RAD-PG East Kalimantan 2019-2023.
The coordination meeting was held on October 19 2021 at the Provincial Bappeda. East Kalimantan and attended by relevant Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) within the Provincial Government. East Kalimantan.
In dealing with nutritional problems, especially in East Kalimantan, there are still several general strategic issues encountered in terms of increasing food security and nutrition, namely: Food Production Capacity, Food Consumption and Malnutrition, Food Prices, and Food Demand.
With the revised Food and Nutrition Action Plan for East Kalimantan Province which will be prepared and with an action-oriented program that is structured and integrated into five pillars, it is hoped that it will be able to answer and overcome food and nutrition problems in East Kalimantan, especially in efforts to reduce stunting.
