Meeting with the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture regarding population information for the Province. East Kalimantan in 2023
Samarinda, (05/09/2023) Young Expert Planner Sub Coordinator for People's Welfare of Bappeda Prov. East Kalimantan Mr Asfiandi Zulfiar., ST. M.URP received a visit from the PMK Ministry Team led by Mr. Redemtus Alfredo Sani Fenat Assistant Deputy for Population and Family Planning Quality Improvement at the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture (Kemenko PMK) at the Propeda Meeting Room.

The aim of this meeting is to find information at the regional level in implementing central government regulatory policies for population affairs because data and information are very important so that policy makers produce policies that are clear and on target. both in the form of obstacles and support in the region

In East Kalimantan Province, in supporting GDPK, strengthening of the economic, health, labor and education dimensions has been carried out
For the health dimension by improving the quality of health services, reducing maternal and child mortality rates, as well as interventions to reduce stunting

The preparation of GDPK in East Kalimantan has been carried out in collaboration with the Province and District/City for the past 3 years and a continuous GDPK Document has been prepared between DKP3A and BKKBN
