Data Reconciliation The results of family and Siga data collection
Samarinda, (03/28/28). Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province through the young expert planner of the People's Welfare Sub -Coordinator, Mr. Asfiandi Zulfiar attended the reconciliation of the Data on Family Data Collection and Family Information Systems (SIGA) in order to increase the coverage and quality of data at the East Kalimantan Province and 2023 levels organized by the East Kalimantan BKKBN at the Hotel. Mercure Samarinda.

The event which was also attended by representatives of the regional apparatus in the East Kalimantan Provincial Government and the Community Organization (consisting of IBI East Kalimantan and the East Kalimantan and Kaltara PPS Task Force Team) were carried out in order to increase coverage and Siga data quality at the provinces of East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan in 2023 as mandated by Law Number 52 of 2009 and Government Regulation (PP) Number 87 of 2014 which requires the government to be responsible for developing Siga nationally and sustainably.

In his opening remarks, the Head of East Kalimantan BKKBN, Mr. Dr. Sunarto said that the fulfillment of the latest family data and information needs in accordance with the conditions in the field, both for the benefit of the proud Kencana program and other development programs become the main needs, especially families who are at risk of stunting.

further conveyed, support is needed from all parties to succeed family data collection, reporting through the New Siga application, and also verification of family data validation at risk stunting to run according to existing rules and produce data which is accurate, relevant and can be accounted for as a basis for planning, policy making and operational implementation of proud programs and other development programs.

In the event the best appreciation to the Siga Regency/City manager for the scope and quality of Siga data at the province of East Kalimantan and North Kalimantan in 2022, where Kab. Kutai Kartanegara, Kab. Kutai Barat, and Bontang City are regencies/cities receiving appreciation for the Province of East Kalimantan, and Kab. Tana Tidung, Kab. Bulungan, and Tarakan City for North Kalimantan Province.
