It is said that PTSL can provide benefits to local governments and the community. These benefits include improving the community and regional economy, where PTSL can be a reference for regional governments in making economic policies, especially in relation to land use and utilization policies in accordance with registered land ownership data.
It was further stated that with PTSL, it can facilitate the integration of land data, because the resulting land data is more complete and of better quality, so it can be used as a data source for policy makers including regional governments.
For your information, PTSL is a land registration process for the first time, which is carried out simultaneously and covers all land registration objects that have not been registered in a village or sub-district area.
To date, out of a total of 126 million plots of land in Indonesia, ±78 million plots have been certified and 16 million are registered but have not been certified until 2021, so land that has not been registered to date has reached ±31.7 million (25.20%).
