Socialization of the 2022 Complete Systematic Event Land Registration Program (PTSL) by the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning / Head of the National Land Agency

The East Kalimantan Bappeda attended a joint event via Video Conference which was held in the HoB Meeting Room, Floor 2 of the East Kalimantan Governor's Office regarding the Socialization of the 2022 Complete Systematic Land Registration (PTSL) Program by the Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning /Head of the National Land Agency, Thursday (27/01/22).

The socialization event which was held online and offline was attended by ± 900 participants. Participants who attended online included the Ministry of ATR/BPN of the Republic of Indonesia, Provincial BPN Regional Offices throughout Indonesia, district/city land offices, provincial governors/regional representatives, and regents/mayors/regency/city representatives.

Minister of ATR/Head of BPN of the Republic of Indonesia, Dr. Sofyan A. Djalil, S.H., M.A., opened the socialization event with the theme "The Role of Regional Government in Making the PTSL Strategic Program a Success towards Realizing People's Welfare".

It is said that PTSL can provide benefits to local governments and the community. These benefits include improving the community and regional economy, where PTSL can be a reference for regional governments in making economic policies, especially in relation to land use and utilization policies in accordance with registered land ownership data.

It was further stated that with PTSL, it can facilitate the integration of land data, because the land data produced is more complete and of better quality, so that it can be used as a data source for policy makers including the government area.

For your information, PTSL is a land registration process for the first time, which is carried out simultaneously and covers all land registration objects that have not been registered in a village or sub-district area.

To date, of the total 126 million plots of land in Indonesia, ±78 million plots have been certified and 16 million are registered but have not been certified until 2021, so the land has not been registered to date it has reached ±31.7 million (25.20%).
