Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan Greets Residents of the "Paring Sumpit" Traditional Law Community in Paser Regency

Still in his series of working visits to the southern region (Paser Regency) from 7 to 9 June 2022, the Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan, Mr. Hadi Mulyadi, visited the residents of the "Paring Sumpit" customary law community (MHA). which is in Muara Andeh Village, Muara Samu District, Paser Regency. Secretary of the East Kalimantan Provincial Bappeda, Mrs. Charmarijaty, ST, M.Si together with functional officials assigned to this activity (Mr. Asfiandi Zulfiar, ST, M.URP and Mr. Berlin F. Sihaloho, SE) as well as the East Kalimantan Deputy Governor's work visit group also accompanied the visit. the. On this occasion, the Regent and Deputy Regent of Paser as well as other elements of the Muspida of Paser Regency were also present.

The “Paring Sumpit” traditional law community is one of the 2 (two) MHA customary law communities in East Kalimantan and also in Paser Regency.

The Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan, Hadi Mulyadi, said in his speech that how happy he was when he arrived at Muara Andeh Village because when he arrived he immediately saw a school building at that location. This illustrates that education has reached this region, and it is hoped that through this school in the future it will be able to produce a generation who can become leaders in East Kalimantan who of course will also contribute to the development of the nation and state. Mr. Hadi reminded that education is very, very important so that there should be no children in Muara Andeh Village who do not go to school. East Kalimantan also provides the Kaltim Complete Scholarship program every year which can be a solution for people who cannot afford it.

During this visit to MHA “Paring Sumpit”, a series of activities were carried out such as the inauguration of the Muara Andeh posyandu by the Deputy Governor of East Kalimantan; handing over the decree and certificate of appreciation to the Paring Sumpit Traditional Law Community; delivery of suitable clothing; basic necessities; sports equipment; electrical carpentry equipment; multivitamins and masks; orange seeds; corn seeds and planting tools; financial assistance from Baznas Kaltim of approximately 50 million; harvesting kelulut honey; as well as reviewing the heirlooms and crafts of the traditional law community "Paring Sumpit".
