East Kalimantan Bappeda is the guest speaker for the preparation of gender geospatial
Samarinda (27/06/2024) - Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province through the Head of PPM Mispoyo and P2EPD Staff Rahmat Hidayat was present as a guest speaker at the Coordination Meeting of the Thematic Gender Geospatial Information Preparation held by the Samarinda City Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Office on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 at the Aston Samarinda Hotel.
This coordination meeting was opened by the Head of the Samarinda City Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Office and was attended by the Head of the Welfare Section from 10 Districts and 59 Villages in Samarinda City.
The purpose of preparing the thematic gender responsive geospatial information in 2024 is as follows:
1. Increasing accuracy to information on facilities and infrastructure supporting the implementation of gender mainstreaming in government agencies, especially sub -districts and kelurahan.
2. Conclude the problems and obstacles encountered in optimizing the benefits of development to all groups of people.
3. As material for the formulation of policies, decision making, and implementing related activities.
4. Geospatial information can also be used to achieve sustainable development goals or SDGs.
5. Assist stakeholders to monitor regional development
6. Become the basis of urban planning information
