Technical Guidance for Sanitation Management in Samarinda City
Infrastructure and Regional Affairs of the Provincial Bappeda. East Kalimantan attended the Samarinda City Sanitation Management Technical Guidance. The technical guidance was held at the Mercure Samarinda Hotel, Tuesday (21/06/2022).

The city of Samarinda uses the sanitation and waste management of the city of Balikpapan for comparison and example. Therefore, this Bimtek presented several resource persons, namely from the East Kalimantan Regional Settlement Infrastructure Center; Association of Indonesian Sanitation and Environmental Engineering Experts (IATPI) East Kalimantan; Faculty of Engineering Unmul Environmental Engineering Study Program; Balikpapan City Housing and Settlement Department; DLH Balikpapan City; Head of Environmental Capacity Building Section and Individual Consultant. The material discussed in the technical guidance includes waste water and solid waste material, namely: 1. Domestic Waste and Waste Water Management Policy & Strategy; 2. Management of the Domestic Wastewater Sub-Sector; 3. Get to know the Scheduled Desludging Services; 4. Domestic Waste Water Management System Technology; 5. Mapping of Domestic Wastewater Management Conditions; 6. Results of Mapping of Domestic Waste Water Management Conditions; 7. Balikpapan City Sanitation; 8. Basic principles of 3R-based waste management, as well as the division of roles between government, community and private sector; 9. TPS 3R Business Plan Preparation Technique; 10. Mapping of Community-Based Regional Scale Waste Management; 11. Preparation of Follow-up Plans for Community-Based Regional Scale Waste Management; 12. Balikpapan City Waste Management; 13. Balikpapan City 3R Waste Management System.
