Visit of the Regent and Deputy Regent of West Kutai as well as the Head of the West Kutai Bappeda with the Head of the Provincial Bappeda, East Kalimantan in the context of Coordination and Consultation
Wednesday, 01/19/2022. Head of Bappeda East Kalimantan Province, Mr. Prof. Dr. Ir. HM Aswin MM received directly a working visit from the West Kutai Regency Government to the Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province.
The working visit group was led directly by the Regent of West Kutai F.X. Yapan was accompanied by Deputy Regent Edyanto Arkan and Head of West Kutai Bappeda Achmad Sofyan.
The working visit aims to convey proposals for regional priority Financial Assistance, so that the allocation of Financial Assistance to the District can be more directed towards production avenues, both fisheries and agriculture. It is also hoped that the Provincial Government can help encourage the Central Government to immediately address the condition of National roads which are in a badly damaged condition, especially by using Rigid Pavement (concrete) for road construction.
The Regent of Kubar said that the current condition of the road is asphalt construction, while the vehicles passing through the road are heavily loaded beyond the capacity of the road construction. So it is more quickly damaged or destroyed.
According to information from Merisa as Infrastructure Sector staff, the length of the national road is around 300 KM, specific data has not been provided for damage points, but it can be seen along the road that a number of damaged road points have been found.< /p>
