Musrenbang RKPD Mahakam Ulu Regency in 2024
Samarinda, (20/03/2023) Head of PPEPD Division Mr. Alfino Rinaldi attended the 2024 Musrenbang RKPD Mahakam Ulu Regency as an online resource person via zoom meeting.

This event was opened by the Regent of Mahakam Ulu Mr. Boniface Belawan Geh, SH, ME and was attended by all Regional Apparatus within the Mahakam Ulu Regency Government, DPRD, FRKD, and stakeholders both online or offline at the Ujoh Bilang Village Traditional Hall.

In his presentation, Mr. Alfino said that in terms of macroeconomic conditions, Mahakam Ulu Regency will have a contribution of 0.34% to the economy of East Kalimantan Province in 2022. Where the economy of Mahakam Ulu Regency is dominated by resource-based business fields natural resources, namely agriculture, forestry and fisheries.

Mahakam Ulu Regency is expected to encourage other economic growth in the short term, namely the construction sector, wholesale and retail trade sector, industry and the transportation and warehousing sector to encourage the movement of goods and services which ultimately opening up space for downstream industries with high added value.

Mr Alfino also said that there are five activities that have been proposed to the Central Government through RAKORTEKRENBANG for infrastructure development in Mahakam Ulu, namely Preservation of Jalan Barong Tongkok – sp. Tering – Batas Mahulu and the construction of the Tering – Ujoh Bilang – Long Bagun – Long Pahangai road which have been approved, and three proposals which will be discussed further, namely Strengthening Rural Internet Access and Networks, Development of Communal PLTS Revitalization, Home Rehabilitation Assistance for Beneficiary Families.

Closing his presentation he emphasized that this meeting is a coordination space that must be optimized to agree on problems, development priorities, strategy and policy direction, agreement on program plans, activities and sub-activities, along with indicators and performance targets and their alignment with efforts to achieve goals and targets in 2024.

According to him, the involvement of various parties is very important, considering that cooperation and clear division of authority is one of the keys to resolving complex problems and development issues.
