Resource persons with the investment opportunity for the Maloy Batuta Trans Kalimantan KEK development project in East Kalimantan
Monday, August 23, 2021. Bappeda Representative of East Kalimantan Province was present as a resource person in the discussion meeting "Map of Investment Opportunities for the Maloy Batuta Trans Kalimantan Development Project in East Kalimantan".
Some things that are important notes in the implementation of this meeting include:
Investment is an important pillar to support long-term economic growth and national economic recovery after the Pandemic Covid-19.
there are 25 strategic priority projects spread across 20 provinces consisting of tourism, industrial estate, and infrastructure.
Maloy Batuta Trans Kalimantan (KEK MBTK) is an industrial area with its main activities is oil palm processing, wood processing industry, energy industry, and logistics, so that MBTK becomes a long-term and very promising area.
KEK MBTK has 3 categories of stakeholders namely the main stakeholder is PT. MBTK, secondary stakeholders involve the community around the KEK, large industrial associations, small industrial associations, academics, and key stakeholders are the central government, East Kalimantan Provincial Government, and Kutim Regency Government which have matters related to industrial estates.
