Training and debriefing of dynamic archive management
(Balikpapan, 12/09/2024), the Archiving Unit (UK) held training and debriefing of dynamic archive management in the Bappeda Prov. East Kalimantan, which was attended by the Processing Unit (UP), Head of General Subdivision, Head of Division and Functional Scope of East Kalimantan Bappeda. The training and debriefing was opened by the Secretary of the East Kalimantan Bappeda - Saur Parsaoran. T, S.Pi, MEMD, and present narcotions namely: Dra. Prihatni Wuryatmini, M. Hum (as Chair of the Regional Team of the Directorate of KD I of the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia) and Risnawati, MM as the Intermediate Archivist of the Library and Archives Office of Prov. Kaltim)
The purpose of training & providing dynamic archive management is to provide understanding and skills to participants in managing archives effectively and efficiently. By paying attention: 1. Maintaining authenticity: Authentic archives are archives that have structures, content and context, in accordance with the conditions at the first time the archive was created by people or institutions who have authority or authority in accordance with the contents and information of the archive (Law No. 43 of 2009 Article 3); 2. Maintaining integrity: Maintaining the completeness of the archive from the reduction, addition and change of information and physical archives that can interfere with the authenticity and confidence of the archive (Law No. 43 of 2009 Article 4); 3. Ensuring the security of Archives: guaranteeing the archive of the possibility of leakage and misuse of information by unauthorized uses (Law No. 43 of 2009 Article 4); 4. Ensuring the safety of Archives: guaranteeing the safety of archives from the threat of good danger caused by nature and human actions (Law No. 43 of 2009 Explanation of Article 4)
training and provision of dynamic archive management in the Bappeda environment of East Kalimantan Province is a strategic step in improving the efficiency of archive management in government agencies. Dynamic archives, which are actively used in daily activities, require appropriate management to support the sustainability of administrative and accurate decision making process.
So that the results of this training can be applied optimally, here are some suggestions that can be implemented in the East Kalimantan Province Bappeda, namely: Development of Internal Archive Management Policy, Utilization of Comprehensive Digital Technology; Monitoring and evaluation of archive management; Improvement of Sapras and HR Management of Archives and Collaboration with Guidance Agencies
