Provision of Waste Management Infrastructure and Facilities in 2022
Wednesday, 01/05/2022. Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, represented by the Head of Subdivision of Natural Resources and Environment, Bappeda of East Kalimantan Province, Mr. Agus Taswanto, ST attended the virtual implementation of the 2022 Waste Handling Infrastructure and Facilities Provision Coordination Meeting.
This activity, which was held by the East Kalimantan Provincial Environmental Service, was also attended by representatives of the Kutim Bappeda, Kutim Balitbang, Kutim DLH, East Kalimantan Adbang Bureau, East Kalimantan Economic Bureau and the East Kalimantan Environmental Agency.< /p>
This coordination aims to obtain input from several relevant regional apparatus regarding the mechanism for providing infrastructure and facilities for handling waste, especially for the East Kutai Regency area.
Mr Agus Taswanto said it was important to handle waste in an integrated manner so that it could be more optimal. The provincial government has previously provided and can provide equipment assistance to districts/cities through the Bankeu mechanism. He also appealed to pay close attention to the SSK document regarding the authority of the Provincial Government, then pay attention to the latest nomenclature regarding the procurement of waste infrastructure at the provincial level.
