Three agendas were carried out in the FGD, namely Review of Chapters II – VI of the RPD Draft; Discussion of the translation of the RPD Performance architecture (casecading) into the RENSTRA and Development of the RENSTRA PD Draft. In connection with the end of the term of office of the Governor and Deputy Governor, Kalim, 2018-2023 will also end. For this reason, the Government has regulated the Instruction of the Minister of Home Affairs Number 52 of 2022 concerning the Preparation of Regional Development Planning Documents for Regions whose Term of Office of Regional Heads Ends in 2023 and New Autonomous Regions which regulates the preparation of development plans during the transition period until the simultaneous regional elections in 2024.

The preparation of the RPD for East Kalimantan Province for 2024-2026 guides the main targets and policy direction of the RPD for East Kalimantan Province. East Kalimantan until 2025 and the East Kalimantan Province RTRW 2016-2036. Apart from that, the RPD document is prepared by taking into account: 1. Alignment of macro indicator targets and national priority programs in the 2020-2024 RPJMN; 2. Evaluation results of regional performance indicators for the 2019-2023 East Kalimantan Province RPJMD; 3. Developing strategic issues; 4. National policies and 5. Applicable regulations.
